Lauren Pickett

Founding Family Advisory Council

Lauren Pickett is a creative leader and dedicated community advocate with a profound passion for the arts and a heart for humanitarian service. As a member of the Founding Family Advisory Council (FFAC), she brings a unique perspective shaped by her commitment to others and her keen eye for visual expression.

An artist at heart, Lauren is a gifted illustrator who finds inspiration in drawing. Her ability to capture powerful, real-world moments was famously demonstrated when she filmed the viral footage of the rescue of David Denton. This pivotal event, carried out by her father and LJ, serves as the very foundation of their mission and was the catalyst for the creation of the Larry Pickett Foundation.

Her compassion is equally evident in her disciplined commitment to her faith. Lauren maintains a dedicated weekly service schedule at her church, spending three weeks a month contributing to the Production Team and devoting every fourth Sunday to volunteering within the Children’s Ministry. Looking ahead, Lauren has a significant long-term vision to open a homeless shelter, continuing the spirit of rescue and advocacy that defines the heart of her family’s foundation.
